I met Dr. Matthew Wagner during his residency at Stonybrook University. I was in a terrible car accident.. one that would changed my life. Dr. Wagner and the team at Stonybrook took such good care of me and made me feel so incredibly cared for at one of the hardest times of my life. I will always have a scar on my stomach from that car accident , but it is also a very important reminder of the greatness in Doctor Wagners heart . Ironically searching for an orthopedic doctor due to another car accident so many years later in my life and I’m please to see that this angel of a doctor is working with children. He is truly gifted! I wish I could fly to NY for Dr. Wagner to be my doctor once again!

Nothing but great things from Dr. Wagner and his staff. Very patient and helpful. Every interaction i have is very smooth, and same day delivery. Dr Wagner is very knowledgeable and caring and i recommend him to anyone that needs pediatric ortho

My 3 year old twins both had a curly toe on each foot (one foot was worse than the other). Dr. Wagner assessed that it would be easier to complete the surgery to correct it now vs wait until they were older. He was completely correct, the healing process was speedy and after only a day (less for my son) they were both walking on their feet again. They healed perfectly. Dr. Wagner had great bedside manner with both of them as they can be difficult when seeing a doctor. The day after the surgery, he personally called to see how they were doing which I thought was great.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Wagner.
